I designed the Dinner Party Bundle to slowly teach you important sewing techniques and the Jasmine Apron is the last pattern in the order! I designed it to be the perfect beginner friendly pattern to start your sewing journey and to make hosting friends, loved ones, a first date dinner party (dont ask) really fun and unique.

This apron has decorative ruffles at the hem for a touch of whimsy, and pockets that allow you to hide all of your secrets.

The Jasmine Apron can be made lined and unlined. The lined version allows you to not finish most of the edges so if you have an aversion to zig zag stitches (I know I do) then I recommend that one! The unlined version is perfect if you are using a thicker fabric!

This is a beginner friendly tutorial, designed to be your first clothing pattern if you haven’t sewn clothing pieces before. Because the ties are designed to tie around your waist, the fit can be really easily adjusted. With in depth illustrated instructions as well an accompanying YouTube tutorial, you’ll have all of the tools and guidance to make your apron. Many of my testers had never sewn a piece of clothing before and they all did an amazing job!!

As it is beginner friendly, it is serger free! I show how to finish your seams with a zig zag stitch but you can choose a different method of your liking if you prefer.

The size ranges from 0 to a 40 which covers a WAIST measurement of 23” - 53” (58cm - 135cm).

The Jasmine Apron sewing pattern comes in a Print at home file (A4 & Letter size), a projector file and a A0 file (large format/copy shop).

Fabrics:

I recommend using a light to medium weight fabric for the Jasmine Apron. This includes cottons and linens. Heavy weight fabrics such as denims and curdoroys also work, but can be tricky to turn inside out and ruffle.
