The June Top sewing pattern makes a versatile top that is fitted around the bust and has a gathered skirt for a peplum look. There are four long straps that allow to be tied in different places (front, top of the shoulder and back). The back is finished with loops and ribbon to create a lace-up look. This means that there are no buttons, zippers or complicated closures!

This is a confident beginner sewing pattern with in depth illustrated instructions as well an accompanying YouTube tutorial.

It is a serger free pattern and is designed for anyone who wants to try a laced up back for the first time. If fit has been intimidating when sewing in the past, this is the pattern for you! If this is one of your first patterns, I still recommend you give it a try as it covers lots of useful sewing techniques :)

The size ranges from 0 to a 40 which covers a BUST size of 30” - 60”.

The cup size grows with each size, starting at an A cup at a size 0 and increasing as the sizes increase. Instructions on how to increase and decrease cup the size is included on page 17 & 18 of the instructions.

The June Top sewing pattern comes in a Print at home file (A4 & Letter size), a projector file and a A0 file (large format/copy shop).

Fabrics:

Depending on the weight of the fabric, it can be made for the warmer seasons (cottons, linens, and other similar lightweight fabrics) but can also be made from thicker fabrics such as denims, heavy weight satins to layer on top of shirts and turtle necks for the colder months!
